Life
After graduating from college, I spent a couple of years teaching, then a couple of years in the Army (went to Germany, not to Vietnam), then six years at Johns Hopkins as a research assistant in their educational research center and (mostly part-time) grad student. on, NJ. (Current job title: "senior psychometrician".) I've been married almost 40 years and have two grown daughters (no grandchildren yet). Main hobby: music. I play the clarinet in a community band and some jazz groups; also do a bit of composition. I also play tennis when not injured (mostly doubles these days) and do some vegetable gardening.
